Hi I'm Alex but everyone knows me as Al Pal. Theres really not much behind that nickname other than I changed my facebook name to that in high school and it stuck.
I currently live in Salt Lake City with my wife Katie, Pat the Cat and our dog Gretchen. I have been working at Brighton Resort for the past 4 years with no official job title other than 'Marketing'. See the interview below if you're really interested about what that gig entails.

Graphic Design has always been a passion of mine
but I didn't start really taking it seriously until college. Yes, this is another 'I started a business out of my dorm room' stories but any and all success I attribute to that experience isn't anything to brag about. I bought a vinyl plotter when I was in school and had to learn how to use Illustrator to use it. This wasn't as easy as I thought it would be and trying to make stickers I could sell to my friends became a full blown obsession with understanding how to use the Adobe Creative Suite.

I wouldn't call myself a photographer
but I've always loved taking photos and videos. Maybe its a gear junkie thing but spending way too much money on camera equipment always seems like a good idea to me. I will say that I'm the only person I know who shot their own wedding photos, during the wedding......
